The vice-president of the DP, Luciano Boçi, spoke at the protest in front of the Parliament, called by the opposition.

Boçi said that the focus of the protest was on the pensioners, who according to him were misused during the government of Edi Rama.

He stated that the government has taken their income and does not give pensioners what they deserve to cope with life.

"Today is a gathering where pensioners have been called to express their anger and revolt about the way the government has treated them throughout these years and how it acts today with the troubles, the problems with their lives.

They want their life not to be an ordeal of suffering as it has been until now, they want peace, they want security and this government has taken this from them and even does not give it to the extent that they deserve and that they need to cope with life .

It's good that he took the children of these pensioners and raised them outside of Albania, but he takes their income every day and puts them in difficulties.

A part of them seems to be waiting for that miserable end to come because they want to get rid of the suffering this government is causing them.

I am convinced that these pensioners who have been misused in these years will give their reaction in the elections. They are the ones who vote, not with political fanfare, but seeing the difficulties of life in their families and children", emphasized the political leader of Shkodra district./ CNA
