The chairman of the Agrarian Environmentalist Party, Agron Duka, revealed the phone call he had with Lulzim Basha a few days ago.

He said that Basha invited him to the table held a few days ago, where he had sent the vice president of the party.

Duka said that despite the fact that his vice-president attended the table, PAA will not make an alliance with Basha.

"Like PAA and other small parties, it is not that they are making pre-election coalitions. Mr. Basha 4-5 days ago held a roundtable on the electoral reform. He called me and invited me. He said to me, do you agree with what we have said? That you yourself have come and are looking for firms for the same theses. So for immigrants to vote, open lists, for Albania to have 3-4 electoral zones, electronic voting and counting. This being so, you can bring to the table that they were the initiators (Note PD). I myself did not have the opportunity to go because I was abroad, but the vice president went. But this was sold as an alliance. We have not made an alliance neither with him nor with Berisha, nor with anyone. That we are in the conditions as we will enter the field of play. We don't know how the judge will be and how he will judge", he said.

In a television interview, Duke emphasized that he will enter the elections alone and will not form an alliance with any party.

"We are not projecting a future electoral alliance when we do not know the conditions of the game. If you go with this Electoral Code and it is grafted in an ugly way. So the one with open lists, then what's the point?! Where do the coalitions stand if it is done with open lists divided by 12 districts. If it was done with open lists, you will enter a sigla and the same story will follow. Meanwhile, small parties penalize themselves.

Taking PD and the re-establishment of the small parties will be included in the same sigle and will give PAA a candidate. Who is the leverage here? First, you will compete in an unnatural habitat because you are on the DP lists. It is their color that prevails. All the votes you get go in favor of the DP and all the work goes to waste. If this will be the case, the small parties must unite to have as many candidates as possible and to have a form of survival", underlined the head of PAA./ CNA
