The National Diaspora Agency comes under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani, declared after the government meeting that the National Diaspora Agency will now be under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 

Also, the minister said that it has been proposed to extend the entry period for tourism purposes for some countries.

"The National Agency of Diaspora, now subordinate to the MEPJ AKD responsible for administrative functions related to diaspora issues. The creation of the Agency as a subsidiary institution will be a support for this ministry. We proposed the extension of the entry period for tourism purposes for some countries. Citizens from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman and Thailand benefit," said the minister in a statement to the media./ CNA
