Incinerator Affair/Këlliçi: Tirana Contract is Still in Force and Could Go to Arbitration

Democratic Party MP Belind Këlliçi spoke about the incinerator affair in a television appearance.

Focusing on the Tirana incinerator, Këlliçi said that the contract is still in force and if the matter goes to arbitration, Albanian taxpayers, in addition to the 430 million euros of the affair, could pay another 200 million euros.

The Democrat stated that this data shows the extent of government theft against Albanians.

"430 million euros were stolen for the 3 incinerators that do not exist. Now they are returning to the strategy that the DP had in 2013 and bringing it to parliament for the DP to vote on. The Tirana contract is still in force and could go to Arbitration the day after tomorrow and the burden on Albanians could be increased by another 100-200 million euros. These are the dimensions of the government's thefts against Albanians ," said Këlliçi./CNA
