The political leader of the Democratic Party for Tirana, Belind Këlliçi, spoke in a television appearance about expectations from May 11th.

Këlliçi said that Rama will not be able to secure a majority from the May 11 votes, as citizens want change.

Këlliçi further stated that there is no candidate from the socialist camp who will hold meetings with citizens in the capital.

" On May 11, Rama will not make a majority because the citizens want change and they will vote for change. 6 months ago, the prime minister said that he would defeat the DP worse than in '97, 100 mandates. A couple of months ago, he reduced it to 84 mandates. Today, he has come up with the theory that we will not leave 71 mandates. You also forgot the margin of error that every poll has. With absolute conviction, Edi Rama will not make the 71 mandates that he may need. He cannot find a SP candidate on the streets of Tirana who would meet with the citizens ," said Këlliçi./ CNA
