How much does this ballot say about Naureda Llagami...

In a distorted landscape of words spilled haphazardly on the pages of newspapers, television screens and numerous portals, where journalists no longer exist because everyone has become journalists, just as they have become judges, prosecutors and lawyers at the same time, the voting held in the Supreme Court of the Republic, during which the senior judges voted to choose one of the three names among the candidates for the Constitutional Court, is presented to us as a major scandal.

This whole story would have been followed with indifference if one of the candidates, Mrs. Naureda Llagami, ranked first after the vote, had not insisted on verifying a ballot in her name, but declared invalid by the voting commission, since the voter, (in this case not some illiterate person from the outskirts of the country, but a member of the Supreme Court of the Republic!), along with the voting mark as an expression of his will in favor of Mrs. Llagami, had made another note on the ballot.
Completely without any reason and without any need according to a normal reasoning, but apparently not for the abnormal reasoning of the voter, the judge at the Supreme Court of the Republic, (he or she) had made another note, circling the number 2, which is the ordinal number before the name of the voter on the ballot, Mrs. Naureda Llagami.

Ms. Llagami is right when she claims that the vote is in her favor. However, as a lawyer who claims to be in her own right, a member of the Constitutional Court of the Republic, she should tell us whether or not a mark other than the vote on the ballot is an identification mark of the voter?

I'm afraid so.
But let's not be prejudiced, because prejudice obscures the clarity of our analysis of the facts.

In the explanation that the Supreme Court itself has made, it has specified that according to the voting regulations, any other mark than the mark expressing the voter's will in the relevant box on the ballot paper makes the vote invalid, because, I quote: "In the specific case, two different marks were made on the ballot paper declared invalid: a cross for voting and a circle around the number next to the candidate, which, despite the fact that it may give the impression of a "clarity of will", openly violates the secrecy of the vote and opens the possibility for it to be identified. If it is allowed that every "clear" vote is accepted even when it is not "secret", then the principle of secrecy loses its meaning and the process becomes identifiable."

The matter will be examined in the Constitutional Court. Whether or not we are facing a scandal, as some others have been quick to express, remains to be seen by the Constitutional Court.
But the ballot paper tells us more than that.
It is evidence of the integrity of the member of the Supreme Court of the Republic. It
is a warning sign of the lack of respect of the member of the Supreme Court of the Republic for the trust that has been given to him.
It is proof of the character of the member of the Supreme Court of the Republic, revealed in a case like this of voting that is no different from the controlled voting, the forced voting or the bought voting that we usually encounter every time we have to go to elect our representatives.

Such a man, by the way, does not deserve to be in the Supreme Court of the Republic, but anywhere in the justice system.

It could happen that from an easily identifiable vote, Ms. Llagami becomes a member of the Constitutional Court, as could the opposite.
But, whatever happens, not only her, but the system gives us another argument as to why citizens do not trust justice, to say the least.

This is what the ballot of a member of the Supreme Court of the Republic tells us, in which, while the vote for Mrs. Llagami is revealed, someone else is also hidden, (he or she) who bargains with the vote and violates the trust given.

If the Constitutional Court of the Republic wants to do a great service to the country, before deciding who will be its next member, Ms. Llagami or Mr. Vokshi, let it investigate and find through forensic examination of the ballot paper which of the members of the Supreme Court of the Republic is the "ignorant" who does not know how to vote at best, or the voter fraud at worst.
The traces are on the ballot paper. Let us all learn who is hiding behind that ballot paper and let his face be a real example of the impunity of a system that has lost trust and credibility, because it has fraud and corrupt people within it.
