Basha - Meta and the debate on increasing "fertility"!

The head of PL, Ilir Meta, reacted, while Lulzim Basha, in a meeting of his party, a few days ago, announced a point of the political program, which aims to increase the population. Basha said that he would offer (when he comes to power) a bonus of 20,000 Euros for couples who give birth to their third child. Meta said after that that Basha is copying his party's program on this issue, which is not simply related to a bonus but to a complete and very detailed strategy.

How many chances do these two parties have to implement their program, this is another issue. But, beyond that, what remains a problem is the flight of people, the decline in births, the increase in deaths, the aging of the population, and all of which converge in the frightening reduction of the Albanian people living in Albania.

In order to claim to encourage Albanians to have more children, you must understand why young people leave and why those who are here do not give birth to more than 1 or at most 2 children.

Albanians flee for a better life!

This is an axiom.

But a better life will not necessarily mean more bread, dishes and clothes. Undoubtedly, there are those who still do not have these, but most of them do not run for a living. But those who have these also leave, those who seek a higher standard of living.

And a higher standard of living means:

Better hospital service; better education for children; a better social environment, kindergartens, playgrounds, after-school centers where children can spend productive time, express and cultivate their talents and not be on the streets or locked up, with phones in their hands. Better public environments, streets, sidewalks, parks...so that people don't have to pay for a cafe chair even to exchange two words between them. Better public transport, cleaner environment, less noise, car horns, loud music day and night, and finally: cities that are not just big sleeping places, but offer cultural and artistic life, with theaters, cinemas, circuses, libraries. More security for life, more security for the workplace, more space to compete on the basis of skills...Then let's talk about the standard of democracy and media, etc., so that they don't hear from morning to dinner about murders, accidents, arrests, scandals, theft, extortion, quarrels, accusations and political mud...

People run away from an environment that produces stress and nervous exhaustion, making them not be mentally productive for themselves, family and society.

There are many reasons that push a young person to run away, or to think long before starting a family and having children.

More than politicians, sociologists and psychologists should talk about this. Even psychiatrists. It is not without explanation why in our cities, there is a pharmacy every 100 meters.

The flight is not stopped with patriotic appeals, while the increase in births is not done with reward "tolls".
