Fire at Emergency/ QSUT reacts: Everything is under control

"Mother Teresa" University Hospital Center has responded to the fire that occurred this morning at the New Emergency.

As reported by the police, QSUT informs that the fire started on the -1st floor of the building, where the basement is located.

The statement states that the patients are all out of danger and the situation is under control.

"In the early hours of the morning today, smoke was reported on the -1st floor of the QSUT building.

Immediate measures were taken to secure the inpatients and the situation was brought under control in record time and the cause of the smoke is being investigated.

The situation is under constant monitoring and the patients are all out of danger, thanks to the commitment of the medical and firefighting personnel. 

Everything is under control and the situation appears calm", emphasizes QSUT./ CNA
