The police in Tirana were able to arrest L. Xh., 38 years old, who embezzled 215,000 euros through fraud.

The 38-year-old has fraudulently embezzled the amount of 215,000 euros from a 26-year-old, under the pretext that he would provide him with a Bulgarian passport, as well as make him a shareholder in a private company in Turkey.

The police was able to seize only 108,600 euros.

The police operation coded "Transporter" is finalized by the Section for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes, in cooperation with the Special Operational Force.

He embezzled 215,000 euros, through fraud, the 38-year-old was caught and put in handcuffs.

108,600 euros are seized as material evidence.

Specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crime, in cooperation with the Special Operational Force following the work to attack criminal activities in the economic and financial field and bring the perpetrators to criminal responsibility, have organized and finalized the police operation coded "Transporter '.

As a result of this operation, citizen L. Xh., 38 years old, resident in Tirana, was arrested.

This citizen has fraudulently embezzled the amount of 215,000 euros from a 26-year-old man, under the pretext that he would provide him with a Bulgarian passport, as well as make him a shareholder in a private company in Turkey.

108,600 euros were seized as material evidence.

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, for further actions./ CNA
