A fraud network has been hit in Tirana.

6 people are under investigation, as it is suspected that in cooperation with each other they falsified forms for American visas against payment.

This network has been denounced by the Diplomatic Security Service at the Embassy of the United States of America in Tirana.

The citizen with the initials RN had opened an address on "Instagram" where he guaranteed the receipt of a 10-year American tourist visa with his intervention at the embassy against the amount of 10,000 euros.

In collaboration with the citizens KP, KK, KL, Xh.S., and E. Gj., he falsified the applicants' electronic forms in the American visa application with false data.

He accompanied the applicants and instructed them on how to behave during the interview and if they qualified he took the money.

Six people are facing the charge of 'Fraud' and 'Forgery of seals, stamps or forms' provided by articles 143/2 and 190/2 of the Criminal Code by the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana, as they falsified the forms in cooperation with each other for US visas against payment.

The Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction Tirana has registered criminal proceedings no. 7018/2023 on the basis of information sent by the Diplomatic Security Service at the Embassy of the United States of America in Tirana (DSS).

From the entirety of the investigative actions in the function of this proceeding, it results that the citizen RN, through the address on the social network 'Istagram', the name "visa_amerikane_insider", had posted the post "American visa with 100% guarantee". "We guarantee the equipment with 10-year US visas. You pay only after your visa is approved. 0683318483".

The RN citizen guaranteed obtaining a 10-year American tourist visa with his intervention at the Embassy against the amount of 10,000 euros.

Also, the investigations proved that the RN citizen falsified the data of the electronic forms in the US visa application to the applicant persons with false data, so that the visa applicant had a qualifying profile. He did this in cooperation with the visa applicant, as are the applications with the citizens of KP, KK, KL, Xh.S., and E. Gj., who have found that in cooperation with the RN citizen, they falsified the electronic forms for American visa by filling it with fake data.

The RN citizen appeared on the day when the applicants had their interview at the consulate, at the American Embassy to obtain the visa. He accompanied them and instructed them on how to behave during the interview. After they finished the interview, in case they qualified (received the visa), the RN citizen received the sum of 10,000 Euros./ CNA
