Renowned academic, Artan Fuga, commented today on the positions shared by Prime Minister Edi Rama during the extended meeting with the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group and the government cabinet.

Speaking to A2 CNN, Fuga said that Rama acknowledged that there is a discrepancy between public opinion and the country's governance.

While also mentioning the currents of political philosophy used by Rama, the academic emphasized that it is now a fact that the prime minister admits that this inconsistency has led to a rift in the system that has produced the revolts.

"Mr. Rama admits that there is a discrepancy between public opinion and the government. Does he explain it through Tocqueville, does he explain it through another modern author, does he explain it through Albanian authors, does he have his own findings, the fact is that Mr. Rama admits in that meeting that there is a gap between the government and the public that has produced the revolts," said Fuga./CNA
