The Blues provided information that the suspected perpetrator had traveled to Berlin. With the coordination of the authorities of the two countries, the 68-year-old man from Shkodran was arrested in the city of Berlin.

The 68-year-old is accused of the criminal offenses of "Premeditated murder", pending trial and "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".
