Three thefts solved in Durrës/Author arrested

A 26-year-old man has been arrested in Durrës, accused of three thefts in different neighborhoods of the city. The RH citizen, a citizen with a precedent in this field, was put in handcuffs.

The investigation revealed that the 26-year-old, on 10.02.2026, 05.03.2026 and 09.04.2026, stole products from markets and tobacconists, in neighborhoods no. 1, no. 15 and no. 17.

Meanwhile, it is reported that investigations are continuing to uncover other thefts that the 26-year-old may have committed.

Police notification:

Durrës/The operation codenamed "Episodet" is finalized.

3 thefts were solved in entities in different neighborhoods of the city of Durrës.

Their perpetrator, a citizen with a precedent in this field, is identified and arrested.

As a result of investigative and operational actions carried out following reports from several citizens of thefts in entities they administered, the services of the Durrës Police Commissariat finalized the operation "Episodet", during which the author of three of these cases, citizen RH, 26 years old, resident of Durrës, was arrested.

The investigation revealed that the 26-year-old, on 10.02.2026, 05.03.2026 and 09.04.2026, stole products from 3 entities (markets and tobacconists), in neighborhoods no. 1, no. 15 and no. 17.

The investigation continues to uncover other thefts that the 26-year-old may have committed.

The procedural materials were referred to the Durrës Prosecutor's Office for further action. /CNA
