Mega drug operation in Greece/ Over 360 kg of cocaine and cannabis and 2.5

Three people aged 35, 50 and 59 were arrested in Athens as part of an operation for drug possession and trafficking.

In their possession, more than 26 kilograms of cocaine, more than 360 kilograms of processed and raw cannabis, forged identity documents and driving licenses, as well as forged stamps, were found and seized, as highlighted by Greek media.

The expected profit from drug trafficking is estimated at 2,500,000 euros.

In total, as part of the operation, the following were found and seized:

26,010.5 grams of cocoa, divided into 24 improvised packages;

330,950 grams of hydroponic cannabis culture, divided into 298 packages;

 31,600 grams of cannabis processed into chocolate, distributed in 315 packages;

2 precision electronic scales, complete with packaging, worth 31,620 euros;

7 forged police ID cards;

4 forged driving licenses, with various types of information written on them;

5 cell phones and 1 closed-circuit camera.

The arrested persons, two of whom had been involved in similar cases in the past, were referred to the competent prosecutor. /CNA
