Murder of businessman Ruzhdi Hoxha/ 15 years in prison Fredi Rrushin

The Tirana court today sentenced Fredi Rrushi to 15 years in prison, accused of murdering businessman Ruzhdi Hoxha.

But Rushi will only serve 10 years in prison, due to the shortened trial, which reduces 1/3 of the sentence.

He is charged with "Premeditated murder", "Unauthorized carrying and production of weapons" and "Hiding or disposing of a corpse".

We recall that the dead body of Ruzhdi Hoxha was found a few days after the crime, buried behind the mountain of Dajti, in 2021.

Before they covered him with gravel in an abyss in Qafë-Mollë i Dajti, businessman Ruzhdi Hoxha was shot in the head with a bullet.

The dead body was also covered with some stones in a remote area, behind Dajti mountain, while it was found half decomposed./ CNA.al
