The police of Lezha have announced the discovery and disposal of 875 narcotic plants of the cannabis sativa type.

Through an official communique, the Blues announce the identification and wanted announcement of a 67-year-old suspected of cultivating narcotic plants.

Also, 687 cannabis sativa narcotic plants cultivated on the ground were found and destroyed by intensive controls by the Lezha police in several villages.

Specifically, 66 plants in the village of Krajen of the administrative unit of Blinisht, 500 plants in the village of Ungrej of the administrative unit of Ungrej and 121 plants in the village of Kolsh of the administrative unit of Manati.

The police forces state that the investigative work to identify and capture the suspected perpetrators is continuing and that the procedural materials have been handed over to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Lezhë, for further action./ CNA
