The police arrested a 27-year-old man with the initials EC in Elbasan, after he was caught with a firearm.

The police uniforms indicate that during the action in the village of Shijon, the police services stopped the vehicle with the young driver and a pistol-type firearm was found. 

Police Notification: 

DVP Elbasan/Goditet is a case of criminal activity of carrying weapons without a permit, as a result of controls that continue to be carried out within the coded police operation "Rule of Law".

Based on the information provided by the police intelligence, the coded police operation "Distance" has been finalized.

A 27-year-old man who was carrying a pistol was caught red-handed and handcuffed.

The firearm, the pistol, and the vehicle that the 27-year-old was driving at the time of the red-handed arrest were seized.

Also, military ammunition and 1 pair of binoculars that were found in this citizen's apartment were seized.

Following the controls carried out as part of the coded police operation "Rule of Law", the services of the Special Operational Force of DVP Elbasan, based on the police intelligence that a citizen was walking around with firearms, have organized and finalized the coded police operation " Distance".

During the operation, in the village of Shijon, the police services stopped the vehicle driven by the EC citizen, 27 years old, resident of Prrenjas, who during the physical check found 1 pistol firearm.

Following the procedural actions, the Police services conducted a search in the 27-year-old's apartment, where they found ammunition and a pair of binoculars.

The firearm, pistol, combat ammunition, binoculars and the vehicle driven by the 27-year-old were seized as material evidence.
