Convicted by the court for various criminal offenses/ Two people arrested

Two people have been arrested by Tirana police for various criminal offenses.

45-year-old ET has been arrested after being sentenced to 4.8 years in prison by the Tirana Court for providing assistance for illegal border crossing.

ZM is sentenced to 1 year in prison for illegal possession of weapons.

Police Announcement:

Two citizens were arrested and convicted of providing assistance in return for payment to immigrants intending to move illegally, or for possession of cold weapons.

As a result of intensive checks by the structures of the Tirana Local Police Directorate, based on information obtained through operational channels, 2 citizens wanted for various criminal offenses were arrested and put in handcuffs. Specifically:

-The services of the Section for the Investigation of Illicit Trafficking, in cooperation with the services of the Police Commissariat No. 4, arrested and handcuffed citizen ET, 45 years old, whom the Court of Tirana has sentenced to 4 years and 8 months in prison, for the criminal offense of "Aid for illegal border crossing". He has 3 years and 2 months of imprisonment left to serve from the sentence.

-The Crime Investigation Specialists of Police Station No. 1 detained citizen Z. M alias ZM, 59 years old, whom the Tirana Court has sentenced to 1 year in prison, for the criminal offense of "Unlicensed production, possession, purchase or sale of cold weapons"./ CNA
