The State Police has revealed the authorship and dynamics of the murder of Italian businessman ES

The suspected perpetrator of the murder is citizen KS, 48 years old, resident of the village of Mesaplik, Vlora, who has been declared wanted for the criminal offenses "Murder in other qualifying circumstances", in a manner dangerous to the lives of many people, "Unlicensed possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition" and "Production and sale of narcotics".

The investigation suspects that the 48-year-old initially had a verbal conflict, for weak motives, with citizen ES and the citizens who were accompanying the latter. Then, citizen KS is suspected of having fired a shotgun at these citizens and their vehicles, on the "Nivicë-Salari" axis, where as a result of the shooting, the 44-year-old lost his life.

"Quick and professional investigations lead to the clarification of the authorship and dynamics of the murder of citizen ES, whose lifeless body was found in the place called "Dilani's Neck", after midnight on 26.09.2025.

A 48-year-old man, the suspected perpetrator of the murder, has been identified and is wanted.

Investigations suspect that the 48-year-old, after a conflict for weak motives, fired a gun at citizen ES, the citizens accompanying him, and their prohibited vehicles.

Citizen ES lost his life in the shooting.

The vehicles of citizen ES and his companions, as well as 2 shotguns, were seized from the scene.

Also, the vehicle and clothing used during the crime were seized, as well as 2,500,000 lek (in lek and euro), 3 hunting guns, shotgun ammunition, shotgun ammunition, 450 suspected Cannabis seeds and 2 safes.

As a result of intensive investigations conducted by the special investigative group, composed of experts from the investigative structures of the Gjirokastra Local Police Directorate and experts from the Criminal Police Department of the DPRS, led by the Gjirokastra Prosecutor's Office, established immediately after the event that occurred around midnight on 26.09.2025, on the "Nivicë-Salari" road axis, where the Italian citizen ES, 44 years old, was killed, it was possible to clarify the authorship and circumstances of the case.

-During the procedural actions, the vehicles used by citizen ES and his companions, as well as 2 shotguns, were seized from the scene.

-During the checks, the Police services found hidden in a hut in a deep mountainous area between the villages of Nivicë and Bolënë, the vehicle and clothing that the 48-year-old allegedly used during the commission of the crime.

Also in this area, a bag was found dumped in the bushes, containing 1 pair of infrared binoculars, 1 pair of thermal binoculars, 1 gun holster, and 1 flashlight.

-Furthermore, during the checks carried out in cooperation with the Vlora Police services, in the 48-year-old's apartment and in the apartments of his family, in the village of Mesaplik and in Vlora, around 2,500,000 lek (in lek and euro currencies), 3 hunting guns with combat ammunition (shotguns and bullets), 450 suspected Cannabis seeds and 2 safes (closed) were found.

Intensive work continues, in collaboration with the Vlora Police and the Criminal Police Department at the DPPSh, with the aim of capturing citizen KS.

"The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Gjirokastra, for further action," the State Police announced./ CNA
