He stole on 2 occasions in the last 2 months/ 31-year-old arrested in Tirana

A 31-year-old man with a significant history of theft has been identified, arrested and placed in custody in Tirana.

He committed one of the thefts by threatening the seller with a cutting tool.

Police Announcement:

The services of Police Stations No. 2 and No. 3, continuing their work to uncover the perpetrators of the thefts committed in their territories, finalized the "Target" operation.

As a result of the operation, the perpetrator of the 2 thefts, citizen Sh. Z., 31 years old, resident of Tirana, was identified, captured and put in handcuffs.

Specifically, it is suspected that this citizen:

-on 03.09.2025, he stole a large amount of money from a store on "Gjergj Fishta" Boulevard, threatening the seller with a cutting tool (knife);

-on 28.08.2025, he stole a large amount of money from a store on "Skënder Kosturi" street.

Investigations are ongoing to uncover other thefts that the 31-year-old may have committed.

The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecution Office for further action, for the criminal offenses of "Theft by Force" and "Theft". /CNA
