Journalist Eni Ferhati revealed today details of the murder of Italian businessman Edoardo Sarchi, a few days ago in the village of Salari, Tepelena.

Invited to the "Now" show with Erla Mëhilli, Ferhati revealed that the perpetrator of the murder had gone to his own tent, where he had taken a gun with binoculars, suitable for use even at night.

The journalist said that the shell casings from the shooting were not found at the scene where the Italian businessman was killed.

Ferhati added that two witnesses were also at risk from the incident due to their proximity to the bullets.

"Now it is more than clear for the investigative group, the businessman's family and the Italian media who initially suspected an enigmatic event due to the lack of coordination of official communication by the local police, which left room for speculation. We are dealing with a typical Albanian historical event, that a person shoots at several others with a rifle just because they had a verbal conflict about the high beams, perhaps under the influence of alcohol.

The shooting also endangered the lives of several residents of the area who had also gone out hunting. The Italian businessman had gone to a camp in Salari where they had also consumed alcoholic beverages and decided that the Italian businessman and Eqerem Braçe would stay at the camp, while Braçe's sons went hunting. At one point they ran out of fuel, but Braçe's sons exchanged fuel with the perpetrator's vehicle, due to the high beams, they argued verbally and notified the Italian citizen and Eqerem Braçe that they had run out of fuel and they went for help.

The author went to his tent where he took a gun, with binoculars, that can be used at night. The cartridges were not found at the scene either, at this moment the Italian citizen was there, only shots were heard, several shots. Two witnesses also testified that they were in danger from the shots and one of the bullets was fatal in the thigh, hitting a main artery.
