Selling cocaine in a supermarket parking lot/ 35-year-old Albanian arrested in Italy

A 35-year-old Albanian man was arrested by Italian police in Sirmione, in the province of Brescia, after being caught red-handed selling cocaine in the parking lot of a supermarket on via Solitro.

Italian media write that the Albanian was stopped while parking a rental car near the supermarket, where police were conducting a surveillance operation against drug distribution.

Shortly afterwards, another person approached and an exchange of a dose of cocaine was observed, at which point the officers intervened.

During the search, several doses of cocaine packaged for sale were found, as well as around 550 euros in cash, suspected to be proceeds from illegal activity.

Authorities have also imposed administrative measures that could lead to the Albanian's removal from Italian territory./CNA
