Video/ Dibra Police monitoring with drones on all road axes

The Dibra Police said in a statement that all road axes are under intensive monitoring with drones and radars.

As a result, the police report that during the first two weeks of March, one person was arrested for violating traffic rules.

Also, 954 drivers were fined during the first two weeks due to monitoring with intelligent devices.

 

Police notification

 

Intensive monitoring with drones, radars and intelligent tools on all road axes of the district, with the aim of preventing road incidents with consequences, as well as traffic management.

In support of the Dibra Traffic Police patrols, there are also groups from the Traffic Police Directorate.

 As a result of the monitoring, during the first 2 weeks of March, 1 citizen was arrested in flagrante delicto for "Violation of traffic rules", and 4 others were criminally prosecuted for the criminal offenses of "Driving a vehicle in an irregular manner" and "Violation of traffic rules".

 Also, during this period, 954 drivers were administratively punished, specifically:

400 drivers, for stopping or stopping the vehicle in violation of road signs;

179 drivers, for wrongful overtaking;

49 drivers, for speeding above the permitted speed limits;

14 motorcycle drivers, for not wearing a protective helmet;

64 drivers, for not wearing seat belts;

4 drivers, for driving under the influence of alcohol;

5 truck drivers, for exceeding the allowed weight;

6 drivers, for unapproved tinted windows and without the relevant documentation;

233 drivers, for other violations of the Highway Code.

The Dibra Traffic Police appeals to all drivers to respect road traffic rules and show maximum caution, as any violation can endanger their lives and those of other road users.
