The police have arrested 46-year-old citizen KD, who is accused of several serious criminal offenses such as "Exploitation of prostitution", "Prostitution", "Adaptation of premises for prostitution", "Trafficking in adults", "Domestic violence" and "Unlicensed production and possession of hunting and sporting weapons".

This citizen exploited a 20-year-old Russian citizen for prostitution. The 46-year-old deceived the 20-year-old into hiring her as a waitress and then, through violence and threats, exploited her for prostitution for nearly two years.

The 46-year-old physically raped her and exploited her in the field of prostitution in various hotels, with various people, for monetary values ranging from 250 to 300 euros per person.

The investigations show that this citizen was trafficked by citizen KD in October 2023, when she illegally entered Albania from Podgorica.

As part of the operation, citizen ES, 39 years old, resident of Durrës, was declared wanted, suspected of being implicated in this case for prostitution.

"Following the successive operations conducted to crack down on cases of exploitation for prostitution, based on information received and followed up with special investigation methods, specialists from the Section for the Investigation of Illegal Trafficking at the Durrës Local Police Directorate organized and finalized another operation, codenamed "Hunter".

As part of the operation, citizen KD, 46 years old, resident of neighborhood no. 13, Durrës, was arrested and detained in flagrante delicto, suspected of the criminal offenses of "Exploitation of prostitution", "Prostitution", "Adaptation of premises for prostitution", "Trafficking in adults", "Domestic violence" and "Unlicensed production and possession of hunting and sporting weapons".

The investigative actions carried out made it possible to document the exploitation of prostitution of the 20-year-old woman from Russia, as it turned out that the 46-year-old had physically raped her and exploited her in the field of prostitution in various hotels, with various people, in exchange for monetary values ranging from 250 to 300 euros per person. These monetary values were received by citizen KD.
