Drunk driving/ 75-year-old citizen from Kosovo arrested in flagrante delicto

The driver of a vehicle was arrested in flagrante delicto while intoxicated at a level of 2.32 mg/l.

Police services received information about a driver who was suspected of driving while intoxicated in the Shëngjin beach area.

After field checks, the Police services located and stopped the vehicle for which information was available, in which citizen FG was driving, who showed obvious signs of intoxication and initially refused to submit to an alcohol test.

After being escorted to the premises of the Lezha Police Station, this citizen agreed to be tested with a Dräger breathalyzer, which resulted in:

First test *2.43 mg*/l and second test *2.32 mg*/l.

At the conclusion of the procedural actions, citizen FG, 75 years old, from Kosovo, was arrested in flagrante delicto for the criminal offense of "Irregular driving." /CNA
