Due to strong winds/ Flight deviates, Macedonian parachutist crashes in Pogradec

A North Macedonian athlete is being helped, who was paragliding but had to land in Pogradec due to a storm. 

Police services responded quickly and professionally, making it possible to locate him.

After receiving information from the commander of St. Naum, North Macedonia, that a parachutist had taken off and, as a result of strong winds, had diverted his flight and could have fallen in the village of Alarup, Pogradec, the services of the Korça Local Border and Migration Directorate immediately went to the address provided, made it possible to locate him and made contact with the athlete, citizen VP, who was in very good health.

The services of the Korça DVKM made it possible to send this citizen to the Tushemisht BCP, who crossed into North Macedonia. /CNA
