Armed with illegal weapons/ Strongmen arrested in Durrës

In the framework of implementing the tasks assigned by the General Director to prevent and crack down on illegal possession of weapons and apprehend high-risk individuals, following the continuous work and successive strikes for this purpose, yesterday evening the structures of the Durrës Local Police Directorate and those of the Durrës Police Commissariat successfully conducted and finalized another high-risk police operation, codenamed "The next Gun".

During the operation, 2 citizens were arrested and handcuffed, one of whom was considered highly dangerous, specifically citizens AM, 39 years old, and AH, 23 years old, both residents of Durrës, who at the time of their arrest were found to be in possession of a pistol firearm, with a cartridge in the chamber ready to fire.

39-year-old AM, a person of high social risk, with a significant criminal record in the field of crimes against the person and illegal possession of weapons. This citizen was wanted by the police, suspected of being the author of the incident that occurred on 13.08.2025, in neighborhood no. 14, Durrës, where explosives were placed in the apartment of citizen I. Gj./ CNA
