Committed 13 thefts worth 130 thousand euros/ 4 Albanians arrested in Mykonos

Police in Mykonos, Greece, arrested four Albanian nationals, aged 21, 24, 25 and 36, who are suspected of forming a criminal group that systematically committed burglaries and thefts from luxury homes and tourist accommodations on the island.

From the analysis of the evidence, a total of 13 cases of thefts and attempted thefts were identified, worth over 130,000 euros, committed between August 6 and 20, 2025. Part of the confiscated items has already been returned to their owners.

A criminal complaint was filed against them for forming a gang, committing distinct thefts (completed and attempted) in succession and as an accomplice.

According to the Police, the perpetrators had carried out a specific operation and were stealing money, valuables, branded accessories and high-value watches. A special investigative team was formed to dismantle the gang, which identified and managed to find them.

In a targeted search of the accommodation where they were temporarily staying, the following were found and confiscated:

Precious jewelry (watches, earrings, rings)

Branded accessories (bags, wallets, belts, sunglasses, hats)

Clothing and shoes from well-known brands

Cash: 3395 euros, 50 US dollars, 10 Swiss francs, 215 Bulgarian leva and 400 Albanian lek

Gloves, lenses and men's clothing used in burglaries

4 mobile phones

The arrested were sent to the First Instance Prosecutor's Office of Siros. /CNA
