He killed his wife in front of the children/ Albanian appears before the Greek

The 40-year-old Albanian man who murdered his wife in front of their children in Volos, Greece, appeared in court this morning. When he arrived, reporters asked him why he committed the crime and if he regretted it, but he remained silent and with his head down.

Inside the detention center, he met his 18-year-old daughter, to whom he reportedly told, "I was confused, I didn't want to do it."

As reported by the Greek media outlet 'Protothema', the prosecutor filed a criminal complaint for intentional homicide against a victim of domestic violence. He was then given a deadline by the Investigating Officer to apologize on Tuesday at 10:00.

The prosecutor's office ordered a social investigation into the couple's minor children. So far, they are staying with the mother's relatives.

As for the 40-year-old, by order of the prosecution, the hospitalization he had last June in a psychiatric hospital and the conditions under which he was released will be investigated. /CNA
