Wanted by Belgian authorities/ 41-year-old Albanian arrested in Montenegro

A 41-year-old Albanian citizen wanted by Belgium was arrested at the Bozaj border crossing in Montenegro.

As local media outlet 'Vijesti' reports, the Albanian with the initials SX was arrested by officers of the Border Police Sector while trying to enter Montenegro.

"Police officers from the Podgorica Border Police Station checked the driver SX, (41), a citizen of the Republic of Albania, at the border crossing point, for whom, after checking the data through electronic data, it was determined that he was wanted by the NCB Interpol Brussels. The check confirmed that an international arrest warrant had been issued for SX on 25 April 4 for several criminal offenses, namely: drug trafficking, creation of a criminal organization and forgery of documents", - the police announced.

The Albanian citizen was handed over to the Podgorica Security Department for jurisdiction and further action./ CNA
