"I didn't want to hurt her, but to scare her"/ Albanian testifies

Albanian Pandeli Nakoleci, the 40-year-old who committed the massacre in Greece by taking the life of his wife in front of their children, has recounted other details from the event.

Greek media have revealed a new part of his testimony, according to which he claims that he did not intend to kill her, but to intimidate her.

"I loved my wife very much, pathologically. I had not planned to kill or hurt her, I only wanted to scare her with it. I went crazy, I lost my mind, my mind went blank when she told me that the child she had lost was not mine and that she would send me photos and videos with her new partner. My suspicions were confirmed. From Easter onwards, evil began. A third party destroyed our lives," the author claimed.

The Volos Municipality Social Services Department was today forwarded the order of the Volos Prosecutor's Office to conduct an investigation regarding the assignment of custody of the three minor children of the unfortunate 36-year-old woman, who was killed by her 40-year-old husband last Friday.

The minor children are aged 6, 13 and 16, while there is also an 18-year-old adult daughter.

According to details from Greek media, it is most likely that custody will be assigned to the deceased mother's sister, who lives and works in Skiathos and, according to information, has already expressed such an intention. /CNA
