Possessed 28 doses of cocaine for trafficking/ 21-year-old Albanian arrested in Terni

Carabinieri officers from the Terni police station in Italy arrested a 21-year-old Albanian man for possession of narcotics with the intent to traffic.

During a patrol, while traveling on Via G. Borsi, a carabinieri patrol narrowly avoided a collision with a vehicle, which was later revealed to be a rental vehicle, whose driver had been driving in the wrong direction on that stretch of road, coming from Via C. Battisti.

According to reports in the Italian media, the 21-year-old was immediately stopped and subjected to a search, he could not justify his presence in the city, after a more thorough investigation, officers searched both the young man and the vehicle.

This specific activity led to the discovery of 28 doses of cocaine, weighing approximately 18 grams, and an amount of almost 1,000 euros, believed to be the proceeds of drug trafficking. All assets were seized.

The 21-year-old was arrested and taken to the Voc. Sabbione prison, awaiting a hearing to confirm the arrest. /CNA
