Tirana Police, as part of Operation "Fortesa", have seized assets worth 26 million and 500 thousand euros, owned by a 45-year-old man, convicted of murder and participation in a criminal group for drug trafficking, by Italian authorities.

The seized assets are specifically: 19 properties, 2 vehicles and 20 bank accounts, registered in the name of the 45-year-old or his family members, with a market value of around 26 million and 500 thousand euros.

The police operation codenamed "Fortress" is finalized.

Assets worth 26 million and 500 thousand euros, owned by a 45-year-old man, convicted of murder and participation in a criminal group for drug trafficking, are being seized by Italian authorities.

Specialists of the Money Laundering Investigation Section, in cooperation with specialists of the Agency for the Administration of Seized and Confiscated Assets, within the framework of a criminal proceeding led by the Tirana Prosecution Office, executed the decision of the Tirana Court, for the seizure of assets owned by citizen KK, alias OM, 45 years old, previously convicted of the criminal offenses of "Premeditated Murder" and "Drug Trafficking", committed within the framework of a structured criminal group.

The seized assets are specifically: 19 properties, 2 vehicles and 20 bank accounts, registered in the name of the 45-year-old or his family members, with a market value of around 26 million and 500 thousand euros.

Work continues to trace and seize other assets suspected of originating from this citizen's criminal activities.

The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action. /CNA
