Police operation "The Wanted"/ 2 citizens extradited from Germany and

Interpol Tirana, in cooperation with their Italian and German counterparts, within the framework of the "The Wanted" operation, have extradited from Italy citizen H. Xh., 42 years old, who during February 2024, repeatedly threatened, due to his duty, the judge of the Lushnja Administrative Court. 

Another 34-year-old citizen, wanted by Albanian authorities for the production and sale of narcotics, has also been extradited from Germany.

Cooperation with counterparts continues, within the framework of the "The Wanted" operation, to finalize the extradition procedures of citizens captured abroad.

-A citizen who, during February 2024, repeatedly threatened, due to his duty, the judge of the Lushnja Administrative Court, is extradited from Italy.

-A citizen wanted for the production and sale of narcotics is extradited from Germany.

1-As a result of the cooperation of Interpol Tirana with Interpol Rome, within the framework of the operation “The Wanted”, for the capture of citizens on international wanted list and their extradition, the procedures for the extradition from Italy of citizen H. Xh., 42 years old, resident of Tirana, were finalized.
The Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction of Tirana, in 2024, assigned him the security measure “Arrest in prison”, for the criminal offenses “Threat due to duty” and “Disturbance of public peace”. Citizen H. Xh. is accused of having repeatedly threatened, via mobile phone, due to duty, citizen EL, judge of the Lushnja Administrative Court, and protested before the High Court.

2-Also, as a result of cooperation with German counterparts, the extradition from Germany of Albanian citizen BS, 34 years old, was finalized. The First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Korça has assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison" for the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics". Citizen BS is accused of selling doses of cocaine in the city of Pogradec.

The extradited citizens were handed over to the General Directorate of Prisons. /CNA
