Part of a criminal group that trafficked drugs/ Two brothers arrested

Following successive operations to capture internationally wanted citizens, the structures of the Special Operational Force Directorate in the Criminal Police Department at the DPSSh, based on information provided on the location of two internationally wanted citizens, organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Operation 64". 

As part of the operation, it was possible to capture and arrest, with the aim of extradition to Italy, the following internationally wanted citizens: 

Roland Metushi, 47 years old, and Saimir Metushi, 45 years old (brothers), both residents of Divjaka.

The Court of Novara, Italy, in October 2024, sentenced citizen Saimir Metushi to 7 years in prison, while citizen Roland Metushi to 5 years in prison, for the criminal offenses of "Criminal Organization" and "Drug Trafficking". 

The procedural materials on the provisional arrest of these citizens, with the aim of their extradition to Italy, were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier./ CNA
