Anti-cannabis operation "Imazhi"/ 1691 cannabis plants were destroyed in Lezha, Kurbin and Mirdita

The 28th phase of the anti-cannabis operation "Imazhi" has been closed with the discovery and destruction of 1691 cannabis narcotic plants by the State Police.

Through an official communique, the Blues inform that narcotic plants were found cultivated in the villages of Lezha, Kurbin and Mirdita.

"As a result, the 28th phase of the anti-cannabis police mega-operation was finalized, at the district level, coded "Imazhi", as a result of which, in deforested areas, a total of 1691 suspected narcotic cannabis sativa plants were found and destroyed by burning.

Specifically:

- in the village of Fregen of the Ungrej administrative unit, Lezhë district, 421 suspected cannabis sativa narcotic plants were found cultivated on the ground in a deforested area.

- in Thirre village of Fan administrative unit, Mirditë district, another 1055 suspected narcotic cannabis sativa plants cultivated on the ground were found.

- in Daul village, Milot administrative unit of Kurbin district, another 215 suspected narcotic cannabis sativa plants cultivated on the ground were found.

The Lezha Police, in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the Lezha General Jurisdiction, continues the investigative actions, with the aim of identifying and arresting the author(s) of this criminal activity." /CNA.al
