The armed group that was distributing drugs on the beach of Gjipe was hit

Following the successive operations developed to attack the activity of drug distribution in doses, on beaches and night clubs, in the district of Vlora, based on police intelligence, that in the bay of Gjipe, an armed criminal group was distributing narcotics, the services of the Himar Police Station in close cooperation with the Operational Forces of the DVP Vlora and the Dhërmi Police Station have organized and finalized the police anti-drug operation coded "Gjipeja".

As a result of the operation, the police services caught and arrested the citizens in the act:

E. Gj, 37 years old, living in Fier, M. Dh, 41 years old, living in Vuno, G. V, 28 years old, living in Tirana and M. Z, 21 years old, living in Tirana.

During the control of the sleeping tents of the above-mentioned citizens, the Police services found and seized as material evidence 1 semi-automatic firearm with a comb, 256 combat cartridges, 3 glass jars and 4 plastic bags with about 600 doses of narcotics, 2 electronic scales, two-way police radios, a knife, 2 mobile phones and a "Toyota" off-road vehicle.

The four handcuffed citizens, in cooperation with each other, carried out the criminal activity of distributing narcotics to vacationers and tourists who frequented the bay of Gjipe.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Vlora for the criminal offenses "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", "Unauthorized production, possession, purchase or sale of cold weapons", and "Production and sale of narcotics"./ CNA
