I am here today together with the Deputy Director for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Serious Crimes, the Deputy Director for Public Safety, and the Chief of the Cyber ??Crimes Investigation Sector, to present the investigative work carried out for a case recorded on August 13 , in the field of cyber crimes, during which one citizen was arrested and two others were prosecuted.

The Sector for the Investigation of Cybercrimes, following the investigative work for the prevention and attack of criminal offenses in the field of cybercrimes, has administered a report from a citizen, resident in the city of Tirana, that she has been continuously harassed on various social networks, together with her infant sister, from suspected forged addresses, from an unidentified national.

As a result of the pressure exerted by these fake profiles, the 13-year-old minor left the apartment.

Being in these tight conditions, in order to prevent the further escalation of the situation, after a genuine investigative work within a record time, it became possible to identify and capture the suspected author of this criminal activity.

Also, it was possible to find the minor girl who is in good health and is currently with her family.

It is worth mentioning that from the Sector for the Investigation of Cybercrimes in DVP Tirana during a short period of time, using police intelligence data, the application of special investigation methods, the administration and evaluation of facts and evidence, cooperation with structures of other police forces, as well as foreign law enforcement agencies, several operations have been organized and finalized, several other cases of criminal offenses in the field of cybercrimes have been identified and prosecuted, among which it is worth mentioning:
