The police of Kavaja have punished the deliberate arsonists in the villages of Bago and Lekaj where 115 olive roots were burned.

As a result, the citizen BK, 62 years old, resident in the village of Bago, was handcuffed. He also referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings began in free status for the NM citizen, resident in the village of Lekaj.

As a result of investigations and operational actions, carried out with the aim of identifying and bringing to criminal responsibility, the perpetrators of deliberate or negligent arson, Kavaja Police Station:

-arrested the citizen BK, 62 years old, a resident of the village of Bago, as a result of the spread of the flames that this citizen lit near his land, to burn garbage, 15 olive roots owned by some citizens of others.

-referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings began in free status for the citizen NM, resident in the village of Lekaj, as a result of the spread of the flames that this citizen lit to burn garbage, an area of ??land and 100 olive roots were burned .

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Durrës General Jurisdiction, for further actions.

The Local Directorate of the Durrës Police once again appeals to all citizens not to light fires under any circumstances, as they will face the law.
