The police have arrested E. Gj., 28 years old, a resident of Shkodër, for the criminal offenses "Destruction of property with explosives" and "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", committed in cooperation.

Intensive work continues to identify the other author of this event, as well as other citizens who may have been involved.

As a result of the application of proactive methods, the event that happened in the village of Rrjoll, where explosives were planted in the bar owned by the citizen AD, is revealed.

One of the suspected perpetrators of placing the explosive substance was identified, caught and put in handcuffs.

The 28-year-old arrested, with a significant criminal record in the fields of crimes against the person and property.

The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Velipojë Police Station, in cooperation with the specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Crimes Against the Person and Property of DVP Shkodër, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, as a result of the information provided and the application of proactive methods, made it possible to clarify of the event that happened on 30.07.2024, in the village of Rrjoll, Velipojë.

Also, they made it possible to identify, capture and arrest the citizen E. Gj., 28 years old, resident of Shkodër, for the criminal offenses "Destruction of property with explosives" and "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition". , carried out in cooperation.

From the investigations, it is suspected that the 28-year-old, in cooperation with another citizen, on 30.07.2024, in the village of Rrjoll, threw a quantity of explosive substance on the terrace of a bar (bar and restaurant) owned by the citizen AD, causing damage material.

In cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office, intensive work continues to identify the other author of this event, as well as other citizens who may have been involved.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office, for further actions./ CNA
