CNA has provided footage of the moments before the murder of the 42-year-old EP in Pogradec.

In the video it can be seen that E. P, 42 years old, coming out of the bar, where the physical collision with the citizen DM, 29 years old, took place.

The footage shows the moments before the fight in which the 42-year-old was involved.

The victim is seen walking unsteadily while, according to the data, a few meters further he fell to the ground.


In the official announcement, the police explained that the incident took place in neighborhood no. 1 Pogradec, where during a conflict due to weak motives, the citizen DM, 29 years old, is suspected to have had a physical conflict outside the premises of a bar with the citizen EP, 42 years old, who during the physical conflict fell to the ground unconscious and as a result changed life.

Citizen DM, 29 years old, left the scene after the conflict, but thanks to the timely response of the Police, it was possible to capture and arrest him for the criminal offense of "Deliberate murder".

Following the actions for the clarification and full legal documentation of this event, the services of the Section for Crimes Against the Person in DVP Korçë in cooperation with the services of the Pogradec Police Station arrested the following citizens:

VS, 40 years old, AM, 55 years old, and LG, 47 years old, for the criminal offenses of "Criminal Impunity" and "Operations that prevent the discovery of the truth". These citizens were present when the event occurred and did not report the crime, preventing the truth from being revealed.

The Pogradec Police also reacted to the accusations that an attempt was made to cover up the event.

In the clarification for the media, the Pogradec Police emphasized that at no time was there an attempt to manipulate or hide the event.

Meanwhile, today, the head of the State Police, Muhamet Rrumbullaku, based on the serious incident and the accusations, has requested an inspection at the Local Police Directorate of Pogradec and the Local Police Directorate of Korça./ CNA
