The incident at the Gramsci plant / Russia officially demands the extradition of

Russia has officially requested the extradition of the Russian Svetlana Timofoeva, arrested in our country after the attack on the arms factory in Gramsh.

The Prosecutor's Office at the Elbasan Court of First Instance has received, through the Ministry of Justice, the official request of the judicial authorities of the Russian Federation for her extradition.

Timofeeva is a wanted person in Russia for the criminal offense of "Illegal obtaining of information constituting a state secret", provided for by point "a", paragraph 2 of article 283 of the Russian Criminal Code.

The Russian citizen herself has not given her consent for extradition to Russia.

Timofoeeva has been in prison since August 20 of this year.

The two Russians, Svetlatana Timofoeva, Mikhail Zorin and the Ukrainian Fiodor Mihailovic, were arrested on August 20, when the incident at the factory also happened, euronews Albania reports.

The three people were photographing the premises of the factory while trying to enter it, they were spotted by Albanian soldiers who asked them to stop.

Mikhail Zorin attacked the soldier by spraying him with a suspected chemical spray. The 3 people were arrested and meanwhile the car they were driving was seized.

They are now officially charged with "Giving secret information" and "Providing information". The court has decided against them the security measure of "prison arrest" ./CNA.al
