The murder of Pjerin Xhuvan / The trial is opened, the evidence from the scene is evaluated

Today, the next session of the trial of Arbë Paplekaj, who allegedly killed Pjerin Xhuvanin on April 21, 2022, took place in the Court of Elbasan.

In the hearing, the evidence obtained at the scene was examined.

The lawyer of Pjerin Xhuvan's family, Rezarta Tahiraj, has requested the verification and discovery of the truth as well as full justice.

"In this process, the responsibility of many policemen who were present at the murder and did not stop the relative of my assistants from being killed will have to be assessed," the lawyer stated.

According to her, the responsibility of the one who arrived that day in Elbasan armed with a pistol should be assessed.

There are 59 witnesses who, at the request of the prosecution, are required to be called in the process./CNA.al
