New details have come to light about the conflict in the village of Menkulas in Devolli, where the VB citizen tried to kill an elderly man with an ax.

It is learned that the fight started for trivial reasons. According to what is reported in the media, VB and the old man were playing cards in the premises of a bar and the fight over the game escalated to the use of an axe.

 "The perpetrator and the injured were playing cards in the bar. They started arguing with each other about the card game. We intervened first to calm them down and both continued the game. After 30 minutes, they started arguing again, hitting and pushing each other. We intervened again by separating them. Today we found out that the conflict continued in the apartment of the injured and we are very sorry. Both had drunk a few drinks and were drunk", stated the owner of the bar, writes Euronews.

On the other hand, the residents of the village have expressed that the fight happened over the card game and that the people do not have conflicts with each other.
