The serious incident with three victims on Vilë-Bashtovë beach/

This afternoon, a serious incident took place at Vilë Bashtovë beach where three vacationers from Tirana, all three members of the same family, drowned in the sea.

The 55-year-old father and his two minor children, aged 13 and 15, tragically lost their lives.

One of the witnesses at the scene told Euronea Albania that the victims were pulled ashore by vacationers who also tried to provide first aid.

He further informed that the ambulance was delayed about 40 minutes and when it came, the nurses were not equipped with a stretcher to transport them.

"First aid was being given to him by a boy at the bar, there was nothing, not even the police.

Only random people have intervened to help them, no government employees. The nurses came without a stretcher, we had to carry them on our side.

First aid was even given to herbs. The father came out without signs of life, the boys were more likely to live", he said./ CNA
