Journalist Ferdinand Dervishi has compared the violence perpetrated in Kruja against two people by members of the Rraja tribe with the actions of the Sicilian mafia during the years 1980-1990.

 Dervishi said in a television interview that the photo of a man with a pistol and baseball bats reminded him of the Sicilian mafia.

"The event is very serious. What a people saw through this video is very serious. For those who know criminality, the photo of a man with a pistol in this shape and those baseball bats only reminds of the Sicilian mafia in the 80s-90s, nothing else, we are in Fushë-Kruje and we are shown images as if the Sicilian mafia was operating there ", he said.

The journalist stated that the Rraja tribe feels safe and acts without fear in the Fushë-Kruja area.

"This shows that they felt very confident about what we do and how they behave there and what they managed to do in Fushë-Kruje. All this history is related to the quarry business in Fushë Krujë. Fushë-Krujë is the only place that has construction materials, stone slabs, granite near Tirana and Durrës, which means that half of Albania is supplied there", emphasized Dervishi./ CNA.al
