Internationally wanted for drug cultivation and energy theft/Young man arrested

The "Operacionalja" operation continues, within the framework of which a 28-year-old man who was declared an international wanted person has been arrested.

28-year-old EK was arrested on the Vau i Dejës-Shkodër axis, after the Barcelona Court in 2025 assigned him the security measure "Arrest with imprisonment".

The arrested person is accused of cultivating narcotic plants and stealing electricity.

Accused of cultivating Cannabis plants, with bulbs, in Spain, the 28-year-old was arrested on the "Vau i Dejës-Shkodër" axis.

As a result of the coordination of work and the exchange of information with Spanish partners, through INTERPOL, the services of the Special Operations Force Directorate, within the framework of the operation "Operacionalja 45", located, captured and handcuffed, with the aim of extradition to Spain, citizen EK, 28 years old, born in Shkodra.

He was wanted internationally, because the Barcelona Court, in 2025, assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison" for the cultivation of narcotic plants and theft of electricity.

Interpol Tirana is cooperating with Interpol Madrid to finalize the extradition of this citizen./ CNA
