Weapons and ammunition in the apartment/ 35-year-old man handcuffed in Mamurras

Police have arrested a 35-year-old resident of Mamurras, accused of "Unlicensed possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition."

During the search, the police found and seized 1 automatic firearm, 1 magazine with cartridges and combat ammunition.

The seized weapon will undergo an examination to determine whether it was used in a criminal incident.

Police notification

The services of the Kurbin Police Commissariat, as a result of the immediate administration of information provided by police intelligence, that a citizen was carrying firearms without a permit in his apartment, organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Information".

As part of this operation, a surprise search was conducted at the apartment of citizen E. Ll, where during the search, 1 automatic firearm, 1 magazine with cartridges and combat ammunition were found and seized as material evidence.

At the conclusion of the procedural actions, the arrest in flagrante delicto of citizen E. Ll., 35 years old, resident of Mamurras, was made.

The firearm will undergo further examination at the Institute of Scientific Police to determine whether it was used in any previous criminal events.

The procedural materials were passed to the Lezha General Jurisdiction Prosecutor's Office for further action, for the criminal offense of "Unlicensed possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition."/ CNA
