He placed explosives in front of his apartment with the aim of obtaining asylum, and within a few hours the police solved the incident and arrested the perpetrator.

The investigative structures of the Elbasan Police Commissariat, immediately after the incident that occurred at midnight, in the "Partizani" neighborhood, organized the work to clarify and legally document, identify and capture the perpetrator(s).

As a result of rapid investigative actions, based on information provided by intelligence, within the framework of the police operation codenamed "Stage", it became possible to clarify the incident and identify the perpetrators.

 Following the operation, the arrests were made for the criminal offenses of "Destruction of property with explosives" and "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", of citizens AP, 43 years old, the owner of the apartment where the explosive material exploded, and ET, 18 years old, his nephew.

Citizen AP is suspected of having placed explosives in front of his apartment in collaboration with his nephew, citizen ET, with the aim of obtaining asylum in one of the EU countries. As a result of the explosion, only material damage was caused.

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor 's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Elbasan, for further action./CNA
