Part of a criminal group/ Extradition to Italy of the 34-year-old with two identities is expected

Following the cooperation with Italian partners, through the homologous structures, Interpol Tirana and Interpol Rome, the services of the Special Operational Force Directorate, within the framework of the operation "Operacionalja 43", located in Laç, captured and handcuffed, with the aim of extradition to Italy, citizen Everest Aliu alias Everest Veseli, 34 years old.  

This citizen was declared internationally wanted after the Court of Appeal of Florence, by decision dated 22.07.2024, sentenced him to 6 years, 5 months and 22 days in prison, as a member of a criminal group that committed burglaries in apartments. In September 2014, this group committed 12 such burglaries in apartments in the province of Florence./ CNA
